ABOUT THE ARTIST
Meghan Barich is a mixed media collage artist and therapeutic writing facilitator based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her work explores the process of meaning-making through layered materials, drawing on paper scraps, found imagery, monoprints, and painted elements to create intuitive compositions that reflect the complexity of the human experience.
Deeply drawn to paper as a material, Barich’s collage practice mirrors the ways we piece together memory, identity, and story over time. Her work often begins with curiosity and unfolds through an intuitive process—musing and meandering through color, texture, and unexpected connections that reveal new relationships within the composition.
In addition to her studio practice, Barich facilitates journaling and creative expression workshops that help individuals access their inner wisdom through writing and art. She regularly teaches mixed media and creative journaling at Create Art Studio in Indianapolis and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Through both her artwork and facilitation, Barich invites viewers to reflect on the layered nature of experience and the quiet transformation that can emerge through creative expression.
